Helene Henry Kilchrist Killasser Swinford – Fundraiser

A GoFundMe Page for Helene Henry Kilchrist who as some of you know, is going through treatment for leukaemia has been set up. Over the next years she will incur huge medical bills that her insurance plan will not completely cover.

Helene is a native of Swinford, Co. Mayo and has lived in Chicago for over 30 years.. She had to take early retirement due to having suffered a stroke in 2015. In 2018, Helene moved to Abilene, Texas to live close to her Son. In late 2018, she received the devastating news that she had leukaemia.

Helene is currently undergoing extensive chemo in Texas and must move back to Chicago for the bone marrow transplant in UIC. She will need 24 hour nursing care for 3 months post bone marrow transplant. These costs are not covered by her medical insurance. The target amount is $75,000.

This fundraiser is to help defray the out of pocket medical expenses she will incur over the next few years. Please help Helene win her battle with leukaemia.

Donations can be sent thro the Go Fund Me page. Search for Helene Kilchrist and this will bring you to the page. For people who want to donate and cannot access the page you can leave a donation into Melletts Swinford and it will be sent on your behalf.

Please share this information so that all of her friends are aware of it.

Your support is appreciated.

If you wish to include anything on Swinford Notes please e-mail swinfordnotes@swinford.ie by Tuesday afternoon. Thank You.
