Michael Walsh Intermediate Cup Swinford defeated Parke on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-8 in Round 2 of the Michael Walsh Intermediate Cup. We led for most of the way but a comeback by Parke had them leading by a point going into the last five minutes before a late flurry of scores from Swinford including points from Paul McDonagh and Kevin Doyle plus a goal by Liam Moran sealed the win. Michael Walsh Intermediate Cup Swinford were beaten by Westport St Patricks on a scoreline of 2-8 to 2-5 in Round 1 of the Michael Walsh Intermediate Cup. A late goal and a point from Westport did the damage. Swinford GAA are away to Parke in Round 2 of the Cup on Sunday 1st March at 11:30am in Parke. All support welcome. Michael Walsh Intermediate Cup Swinford GAA plays its first game of the year tonight (Friday 20th February) at 8pm in Bekan’s Connacht Centre of Excellence against Westport St. Patrick’s.
