Credit Union News

In May 1988 Swinford & District Credit Union opened its doors to the public in a sitting room of a private house with a very dedicated team of volunteers. Although its founding members had a vision of community based growth, no one could have foreseen the tremendous success which has been achieved. Members Draw
The next Swinford Credit Union Members Draw takes place in the Gateway Hotel Swinford on Thursday 14th June at 9.30pm. All members are invited to attend. If you are signed up for the draw you are automatically included if not call in and sign up closing date for this draw is Saturday 9th June. T& C apply.

Killasser Community Centre

KCC 50/50 draw took place on Saturday night in Franks Place, April winner was Caroline Tully who won €600 with John Maloney and Una Ruddy winning €20 spot prize.

Healthcare Support Training

Mayo North East is organising a free Healthcare Support Training Course in Swinford for unemployed people or people in part-time employment. On successful completion of the course learners will have gained a Healthcare Support QQI Level 5 Major award. Skillnet eligibility criteria will apply and Garda Vetting must be successfully completed.
Training will commence one day per week in June 2018 and conclude in December 2018.

Killasser Folk Group/Gospel Choir

Saturday Evening Mass Choir
