Swinford Tri Sports AGM
The annual general meeting of the Swinford Tri Sports Club will be held on Wednesday 15th October at 9pm in The Gateway Hotel.
The Trisports Club hold training schedules all year round, with jogging, cycling and swimming organised for it’s members. All abilities are catered for and new members are always welcomed. If you are interested in joining, why not come along and find out what’s on offer.
Swinford Parish Choir
The Parish choir is currently looking for new members.
Both male and female singers are required. The choir hold their rehearsals at 7pm every Tuesday in the Parochial House.

Swinford Garda Station
The new opening hours of Swinford Garda Station have now come into effect. The station is only open at the following times -:
Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm and 8pm to 9pm
Saturdays 10am to 12noon
Sundays 1pm to 2pm

Meelick 25 Drive
The 25 card games in Meelick will resume on Tuesday 14th October at 9pm in Meelick Community Centre. All are welcomed to attend.
Gateway Hotel 25 Drive Results
The winners of the 25 Drive held in The Gateway Hotel on Sunday 5th October were -:

The 25 card games to be held on the 12th and 19th October will be in aid of the Special Care Baby Unit, Castlebar and the Coombe Baby Unit, Coombe Hospital, Dublin.

Swinford GAA 50/50 Draw
This week’s 50/50 draw was worth €1071 and was won by May Rowley.
The next draw will take place in Heaneys, Killasser on Tuesday 13th October.
Draw envelopes are widely available in Swinford’s shops and businesses and you can now play online.
Your continued support is greatly appreciated and who knows YOU may be the lucky winner next week.

Soroptomist Annual Charity Bridge Drive
John Mc Crohan (Swinford Bridge Club) would like to inform all local bridge players of this charity bridge event.
The annual charity bridge drive will take place this Sunday 12th October in Breaffy House Hotel, Castlebar commencing at 6pm sharp.
There will be great prizes on the night including a novice prize.
Entry fee is €10 and all proceeds will be used at Christmas to help local families.
