Swinford Indoor Market
Swinford Indoor Country Market is on Saturday the 5th of March from 9.30-2pm at Swinford Cultural Centre (beside the new library).
We have a busy day planned for the whole family.
Our wide range of lovely stalls are there with a large variety of local produce on offer: veg, cakes, breads, preserves, plants, crafts, jewellery and much more will be available. We have some lovely home-made Cakes for Easter available.
The Railway cafe is also there to sit down and relax while enjoying the live music and having a lovely cup of tea with some homemade cake.
We’ll be looking forward to seeing you all there.
Swinford Court House Regeneration
A meeting to discuss the Regeneration of Swinford Courthouse will take place on Monday, March 14th at 8pm in the Gateway Hotel. Cake Sale
Swinford Mayo 24 Scouts will hold a fundraising Cake Sale on Easter Sunday, March 27th in the kitchen of Swinford Secondary School after 12 o’clock mass. All support would be greatly appreciated.
Daffodil Day
Daffodil Day is Friday March 11th this year we are looking for volunteers to give a few hours of their time to sell daffodils on the street in Swinford on that day if interested please contact Mary 0876536370 or Annie 0876867557.
GIY Workshop
Crochet Classes
Crochet classes in Killasser Community Centre for beginners/improvers on Tuesday night from 7pm to 9pm.
Cost €75 (crochet hook, a ball of yarn and patterns supplied) for 5 week course.

Boom Sprayer Course
Boom sprayers courses are scheduled to take place in Killasser Community Centre on March 21st & 22nd, 24th & 25th, 29th & 30th.

The Friday night indoor soccer continues at 6pm every Friday night.

This weeks draw for Swinford GAA 50/50 draw was held in Franks Place, Killasser on Tuesday 1 March and John Needham won €723. Envelopes are available in most business premises and online throughwww.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. Next draw is in Julians, Midfield on the 8th March. Draw envelopes are now also available at 3 for €5.
