Swinford GAA 50/50 Draw
This week’s draw was worth €1200 and was won by Maureen Howley of Tower Hardware, Swinford.
The next draw will take place in the Gateway Hotel, Swinford on Tuesday 4th November.
Draw envelopes are widely available in Swinford’s shops and businesses and you can now play online.
Next week the club will be sharing it’s half of the draw with Scoil Mhuire agus Treasa in order to support Gaelic games in the school. Similar initiatives will be done with all the schools in the area in the future. Thank you for making the draw a continued success. The club really appreciates all your support.
Multi Use Games Area Official Opening
Mayo County Council cordially invites all members of the Swinford community to the Official Opening of the new Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at Brabazon Park by Minister Michael Ring, T.D. Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport on Friday 31st October at 12 noon.

Swinford Community Indoor Market
The next Community Indoor Market is on Saturday 1st November from 9:30am to 1:00pm in the Swinford Cultural Centre.
Local organic vegetables, plants, flowers, all kinds of crafts, jewellery, local spun wool, 17 types of sourdough breads, local honey/jams and many, many more wonderful items.
The Railway Cafe will also be open with delicious home made cuisine. An idea place to get an early start on buying those extra special Christmas gifts locally.
