Achonry Regional Pioneer Dinner Dance
This year’s Achonry Regional Pioneer Dinner Dance will be held on Friday 27th February in the Gateway Hotel starting at 8pm.
Tickets are €25 and are available from Thomas Marren on 087 2344338 or from Yvonne Moore in Moore’s Supermarket, Swinford.

Killaturley Water Notice
Killaturley Water Co-operative Society Ltd would like to inform its members that a major cleaning of its pipe network in all areas commenced on Monday 23rd February and will finish on Friday 20th March.
Slight discolouration of water along with temporary interruption to supply may occur during this process. The Society apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Swinford Community Indoor Market
This month’s Indoor Market will take place on Saturday 7th March from 9:30am to 1pm in the Cultural Centre.
On offer will be a wide variety of produce from scrumptious home baking, artisan breads, local honey, jams, preserves, chutneys, fresh fruit & veg, both fresh flower and silk flower arrangements, crafts, sowing, quilting, crochet, knitting, herbs, plants, flowers, spring bulbs and plants, home spun wool, soaps, jewellery of all types, greeting cards, cheeses and olives and much much more..
The Railway Cafe always a very popular spot will be serving teas, coffees and a selection of homemade foods to eat in or take away.
Please come along and support your local community market.
Swinford Mayo 24th Scouts Training Awards
On Sunday 8th February, Members of Swinford Mayo 24th Scouts successfully completed their Stage 5 (Event Planning) Scouting Ireland Training in Lough Lannagh, Castlebar and were awarded their certificates.
Mayo Job Club
Mayo Job Club will be holding training in the Swinford Cultural Centre starting Monday 2nd March to Friday 20th March from 10am – 1pm weekdays only.
This free service provides help with CV Writing, Job Resourcing, Interview Skills, etc for job seekers.

Swinford GAA 50/50 Draw
This week’s 50/50 draw was worth €1007 and was won by Bob McCallion and Alice Roughneen.
The next draw will take place at 9pm in Boland’s Bar on Tuesday 3rd March.
Draw envelopes are widely available in Swinford’s shops and businesses and you can also play online.
This week Swinford GAA Club will also be presenting cheques for €250 to the National Schools of Meelick and Midfield for the purchase of sport equipment.
The club would like to thank all our sellers of tickets, the players for going out every weekend selling tickets and everyone in the community who purchased envelopes. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Presentation Of iPads To Scoil Muire Agus Treasa
Derek Kelly of Swinford Motors along with Yvonne Irwin & Julie Ryan of Scoil Muire Agus Treasa Parents Association are pictured above presenting 3 iPad Airs to Mr. Butler (Principal) and students Conn Durkin & Michelle Higgins.
The iPads were funded from the proceeds of the Paddy Casey concert held in Swinford Cultural Centre on 29th November 2014 sponsored by Swinford Motors.
