Important Public Information Meeting
Mayo County Council are holding an important public information meeting today (Wednesday 21st January) in the Cultural Centre from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
All are welcome to attend and Swinford.ie urge all interested clubs, organisations and individuals to please attend this very important meeting, which is in preparation for the visit of Travis Price and architecture students from the Catholic University of Washington, during the week of 25th-31st of January.

This week’s draw was worth €1004 and was won by Thomas Dyna Feeney.
The next draw will take place in Moores, Swinford on Tuesday 27th January.
Draw envelopes are widely available in Swinford’s shops and businesses plus you can also play online.

Swinford Men’s Shed Meeting
Swinford Men’s Shed will be holding a meeting on Thursday 29th January at 7pm in the Gateway Hotel. This meeting is being held in order to make decisions on what projects to develop and how to progress matters in the short and long term.
It is hoped that in the next six weeks to have the shed up and running in the old woodwork room of St. Patrick’s College, Swinford and work can begin on a number of new projects.

The County Board CCE will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Friday 23rd January at 9pm in the Gateway Hotel.
Cycling Promotion Day
Swinford Cycling Club are hosting a cycle promotion day on Sunday 22nd February in the Amenity Park, Swinford at 10:30am.
This event is free and open to all levels of cyclist, but beginners are especially welcomed. It is planned to conduct presentations on club activities, bike repairs, tips on purchasing your bike, bike fittings, clothing and road safety. Following the presentations, there will be a short cycle for all bike riders to enjoy.
