Occupational First Aid Training
Jobseekers and people in part-time employment can avail of a free Occupational First Aid training course in the Cultural Centre, Swinford on 24th, 25th and 26th August.
The training must be pre-booked by contacting Dolores McNicholas at 0877704251 or email dmcnicholas@mayonortheast.com
This training is delivered by Mayo North East and is funded under The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme
Horkans
Horkans are delighted to announce the return of our Summer Farm in our Turlough Store, Castlebar. The Summer Farm takes place from Thursday the 18th of August through to Sunday the 28th of August. Guests will include rescue donkeys, a mini pony, chickens, ducks and geese. We will also have our resident Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, Terry the Tortoise, Sonic the Hedgehog, Millie & Lillie the Giant Millipedes and of course our own rabbits and guinea pigs.
Visit our award winning store with your little ones for Free Face Painting on Saturday the 27th of August & Sunday 28th of August! Everything is 100% free and everyone is welcome!
Síamsa Sráide
The Síamsa Sráide Committee would like to thank the people of Swinford for their help and support in bringing about another safe and successful Festival.
Síamsa Sráide 2017 will take place next year from August 4th-9th.

This weeks draw was held in Campbells Lounge and Joanne Towey of Goodfellas barbers won €625
Envelopes are available in most business premises and online through www.swinfordgaa.ie where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10/25/52 weeks. Next draw is in the Gateway Hotel on the 23rd August. Draw envelopes are now available at 3 for €5.
