Siamsa Seipeil welcomes Phil Coulter to Swinford on Friday 31st July

Siamsa Seipeil is bringing the one and only Phil Coulter to Swinford this August Bank Holiday weekend. Composer, producer and performer, Phil is the best-selling Irish artist of his generation. He will be joined by some very special guests on the night, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

This is a unique opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable evening of music & song in the wonderful venue that is Swinford Church.

Junior Championship

Swinford GAA made the trip to Killala on Saturday evening for Round 2 of the Junior Championship and the gulf between the teams showed as the home team won by 3-12 to 1-5.

Swinford scorers: Ryan Convey 1-0, Kevin McDonagh 0-3, Darren Campbell 0-1, Pearse Walsh 0-1.

50/50 Draw

This week’s Swinford GAA 50/50 Draw was held in Moore’s on Tuesday 16th June and Shannon & Niamh Lavin c/o of Nicola Lavin of Castlebawn, Swinford won €726. Will YOU be next week’s lucky winner…..?

Next week’s draw will take place in Julian’s on Tuesday 23rd June.

Draw envelopes are available in most local business premises at €2 each or 3 for €5. You can also enter online through the Swinford GAA Store where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10, 20, or 52 weeks.

Work will commence on the football pitch on Monday 22nd June to improve the playing surface. As a result the pitch will be closed for a few weeks.
