Topaz Cash for Clubs

A BIG thank you to all who collected stamps for the club in the recent Topaz Cash for Clubs promotion. Our entry has been submitted and the draw will be running over the summer months.

Thanks also to Sean & Angela in Gavaghan’s Mace & Topaz for all their support.

50/50 Draw

This week’s Swinford GAA 50/50 Draw was held in Boland’s Bar on Tuesday 12th May and Johnny Burke and Kevin Geraghty won €863. The winning envelope was part of a 3 for €5 sold in The Sheepwalk Bar last weekend.

Next week’s draw will take place in Heaneys, Killasser on Tuesday 19th May.

Draw envelopes are available in most local business premises at €2 each or 3 for €5. You can also enter online through the Swinford GAA Store where tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10, 20, or 52 weeks.

In the next few weeks, the club intend to improve the warm up area adjacent to the clubhouse by building a supporting wall and laying astro turf. We will also carry out remedial works to the playing surface of Robert McCallion Memorial Pitch. All underage players are currently being kitted out in club tops. All this work could not be done without the support of the entire community, it is very much appreciated.

Club Development Draw 2015

– All entries must be in by Friday 15th May –

Swinford GAA Club has launched their club draw for 2015. The annual subscription remains at €150. The club draw is again structured this year to ensure each subscriber is getting value for their money and you will be entitled to the following for your €150 investment in the club;

1.  Club Membership – €20

2.  Entry to Swinford GAA Home League games

3.  County Board ticket – €100, which has a prize fund of €90,000 and

4.  An entitlement to purchase an All-Ireland Senior Football Final ticket should Mayo reach the final in 2015.

The officers of the club have decided to restrict the numbers in the draw this year to 130 people in order to limit the ticket demands placed on it should Mayo reach the All Ireland Final in 2015.

Please contact any club officer as soon as possible if you are interested in purchasing a ticket as we expect to sell the allocation within a couple of weeks.
