Siàmsa Sràide and The Green Room Present Blàth Nà Fèile

You are welcome to share this on:

This year  Siàmsa Sràide celebrates its 30th successful year and if you call yourself an East Mayo Man(or woman),then you have taken part in the festivities of Siàmsa Sràide once or twice.  To help celebrate this 30th year, The Green Room (along with the Siàmsa Sràide committee) are introducing this new event, Blàth Nà Fèile.

Blàth Nà Fèile or flower of the festival is a positive, youthful, community event where local girls for maybe the first time in their young adult lives have a platform in which they can highlight their accomplishments, academic endeavours, accreditation’s, community presence and finally their strong beautiful personalities. How many young women do you know in your community (neighbour, babysitter, niece, and daughter) who strives for excellence on a regular basis…you may know all about them but does your local shop keeper. These young women are what make the future bright!! These are the types of people that will work hard to bring us out of recessionary times.  Blàth Nà Fèile will celebrate these young women in their local community in the presence of their family, friends and neighbours.

Swinford celebrates young women and it's 30th anniversary this year
