For 2015, Siamsa Seipeil continues the tradition of bringing World Class talent to Swinford to start our August Bank Holiday weekend. The star performer for 2015 is one of Ireland’s finest artistes of all time, Phil Coulter. Composer, producer and performer, Phil is the best-selling Irish artist of his generation. He has written at least four titles that can be added to the list of Great Irish Songs – the anthems ‘The Town I Loved So Well’ and ‘Ireland’s Call’ and the haunting ‘Scorn Not His Simplicity’ and ‘Steal Away’. Winner of Eurovisions, Ivor Novellos, Meteor Awards, he is a supremely talented songwriter and performer of the highest class. Phil will be joined by special guests on the night which will be announced at a later date.
