Swinford Amenity Park will host the Mayo Ladies Senior team, as they open their National Football League campaign this Sunday against All Ireland Champions Cork. This is the first time Swinford has hosted a National League fixture, and they don’t come any more appealing than a meeting of the top two Ladies Football teams in the country. Sunday’s game, which throws in at 2pm, is Corks first competitive outing since they won the Ladies Senior All-Ireland Final in September; their ninth All Ireland title in ten years. Swinford Killasser Ladies GFC is delighted to be chosen as the host Club for this prestigious National fixture; promoting our town as a venue for a national sports event and giving people the opportunity to witness the best Senior Ladies Gaelic footballers in the country playing in Swinford.
